Three first editions of these collections of short mystery stories by H.C. Bailey, featuring brilliant detective Reggie Fortune, an eccentric surgeon working for Scotland Yard. Each volume contains eight stories. A drama critic and war correspondent during the First World War, Bailey became one of the most-read writers of the Golden Age of detective fiction.
