First edition hardback, inscribed to Nick Grant, "For Nick/With Love/Ted/19th August 1989". Wolfwatching is Hughes' fourteenth collection of poetry. It is dedicated to "Hilda", an aunt who Ted was especially close to particularly following the death of his wife, the poet Sylvia Plath, as Hilda looked after the couples children Nicholas and Frieda.
