A VG+ copy (contents clean, a contemporary Christmas gift inscription from 1942 to the front free end-paper, some minor toning to edges, just a hint of spotting, boards exceptionally bright and clean). The dustwrapper is in near fine condition and is a very bright and clean example with creasing/minor wear at the head and tail of the spine but with NO FADING TO THE SPINE WHATSOEVER AND SCARCE THUS. The final words of the dying man...the code names of Hitler s most dangerous agents...the mysterious clue that sends Tommy and Tuppence to a seaside resort on a mission of wartime intelligence. There is misdirection, suspense and proper explanation of the facts . (GoodReads). Photographs/scans available upon request.
