Contents include The Reminiscences of Mr. Sherlock Homes by Conan Doyle, three stories: The Singular Experience of Mr John Scott Eccles , The Tiger of San Pedro and The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans . plus The Silver Mirror also by Doyle all illustrated by Arthur Twiddle, Five parts of My African Journey by Winston Churchill.Plus many pieces and stories by other writers such as E Nesbit, Richard Marsh and W W Jacobs.Also many illustrations by contemporary illustrators.The book is slightly rubbed to corners, edges and spine ends, spine is ligtly faded. Overall a very good copy, externally very sound, quite clean with bright gilt.Cloth not much worn at all. Inside hinges very sound with endpapers intact, making for a sound and solid binding, some light spotting to the endpapers,otherwise the pages are all quite clean and in good order throughout..
