D après l approbation, le choix de ces textes reviendrait à Montigny, mais selon Duveen « it is difficult not to ascribe this volume chiefly to Lavoisier ». On y trouve entre autres des textes de Glauber, de Stahl, ainsi que deux mémoires sur le nitre par Lemery. « This is a collection of abstracts and papers on saltpeter drawn from many sources. Lavoisier was a member of the commission gathering the material and contributed a paper of his own on the composition of nitric acid » (Cole). Bon exemplaire, complet de ces 3 planches.
